Having been in Ul’dah for six years since his “escape” from occupied Ala Mhigo, Elias is well-acquainted with the city’s culture as a member of the Brass Blades and an occasional Bloodsands participant, offering his skills as hired muscle on the side.His situation is both complicated and simple: his siblings in the Ala Mhigan Resistance had arranged a deal with a high-ranking monetarist to extract a family member from their homeland. Being the youngest, Elias was the first to be pulled out, not without protest. When he awoke at the Silver Bazaar, he was shortly enlisted by the monetarist to be his personal guard thanks to his Garlean military training as part of the deal. Essentially, he is on a very long leash held by a very short man.When growing up, he was teased for eating nearly everything under the sun and has gained a sort of resistance to poisons and tonics, which he uses to differentiate himself from other mercenaries. He doesn’t know the exact science of it all, but he carries a pouch of antidotes with him in case he encounters substances meant to incapacitate his clients.Often sporting a scowl and a serious demeanor on the clock, he can appear standoffish and unsociable in louder settings, but welcomes conversation so long as they don’t distract too much from his job. Outside of work he can be loitering around the markets browsing weapons or armor, or tasting experimental foods by the potwatch.Usually a bit of a workaholic, he’s dense and awkward around topics that don’t involve his sword. Don't even bother hoping about his fashion sense, or his taste in food.
Connections
Verlain Reliano - His antidote supplier who, for some reason, is probably the cause of how he gets poisoned on a regular basis. They know each other on a client-customer basis, but have an unspoken measure of trust between them that goes beyond coin.
Tyo'li Zhwan - One of his usual clients who found him entertaining for some reason. Also has more fashion sense than Elias, which he's more than willing to admit.
Gravy Au'jus - Someone he occasionally comes across either in the Bloodsands, or at the club he works for. Seems like a good enough guy, brings along good food when he does stop by.
Shoppe Cafe - A strange lot who he'd come across a few times and helped out on occasion. Gravy works there, so that's something. A couple of fighters (Arkhail and Sophia) from the Sands he respects also work here, for some reason.
Bluebell Lounge - The club he was convinced to work security at. Tyo'li's deal was too good to refuse (not for his lack of trying), but he isn't used to the humidity of the Shroud.

Elias is a bit of a puzzle: he doesn't usually indulge in his wants but will listen to his needs. He's not usually interested in sex and remarkably dense to advances that lead up to the intention of intercourse especially since physical touch is a regular occurence in the Bloodsands.Still, he does get urges-- while he will not actively seek someone to satisfy them with, he won't refuse the help, especially after a particularly heated duel on the Sands. He won't be shy about what he desires, and in fact will be blunt about blowing off steam to just move on with his day if the feeling is mutual.It's not unusual for him to be flustered at more casual advances-- he may dense but not oblivious, even if it takes him a moment to realize the others' intentions. Allow him the space to rid him of his armor, and he might let you see underneath.Physical

Every so often, he would be requested to participate in Bloodsands bouts for entertainment. If you are a frequent spectator, you may have seen him; or if you participate yourself, you might encounter him in a duel. Regardless, this "Garlean Dog" could be a sight to see.
Elias is always looking for work, and usually lends his skills to those requiring muscle to either look scary or actually protect from threats. Have something or someone to guard? He might be your guy.
He was born and raised in occupied Ala Mhigo and often connects easily to those who sympathize with it, or is wary around those who might see him as a bootlicker for having stayed as long as he has until he was forced out. Either way, it could be an interesting conversation...
